Preorders are go.

or Betty Martin.

The bookblock’s locked, the cover vetted, ISBNs assigned, prices set, marketplaces logged into and loaded up, copies released to and ordered for Comrades and Patreons: it’s starting to feel like a book launch around here. All we need are preorders—but of course, preorders are used to gauge interest and judge printruns, and we are print-on-demand around here, and given my relationship with my publisher (me), it’s going to take more than slow sales to shut down this show. So preorders aren’t really necessary—but what the heck, right?

So: click here, if you’d like to preorder a paperback, and I’ll try to time it so that it arrives by or at least awful close to the actual release date (October 22nd); click here, if you’d like to preorder an ebook, and you’ll get the download right at the crack of the fourth Tuesday of this month. And do know that, though the success or failure of this epic will never hinge on whether or not the preorders made the line go up, every preorder will make me just that much more happy and more pleased and more inclined to take in the world around, such as it is, with a generous and a charitable mien. Thank you all, so very much.
